Rugby Association of Maharashtra (RAM) is recognised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services, Govt. of Maharashtra
& the Maharashtra Olympic Association (MOA). RAM is a Member of the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU).
The IRFU is affiliated with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sport, Govt. of India, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), Asia Rugby & World Rugby.
Rugby in Maharashtra is a part of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) for the Under-14, Under-17 & Under-19 age categories, for
both boys & girls and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for Rugby 7s & Rugby 15s, for Men & Women.
